About Artisan Computer

Founded in 2003, Artisan Computer provides technology consulting services for businesses and inidividuals, specifically in the areas of technology implementation, troubleshooting, and process engineering.
We offer these services through on-site visits, as well as remotely via phone or other remote support tools.

We understand that technology is put in place to accomplish business or personal goals, and we see our role in helping our customers as threefold:
We help our clients develop their goals into concrete, implementation ready plans.
We provide technical and process development assistance to accomplish those plans.
We work with our clients to provide ongoing technical support and re-evaluate the established plans as technology and goals change.
We also act in the best interests of our clients, especially when working with other technology vendors. In order to prioritize those interests and provide an objective point of view regarding the products and services we recommend, we have the following policies:
- Equipment or services that we resell is done at our cost, without a markup or other kickbacks.
- We keep our clients’ information private and do not sell or distribute it to other parties, outside of making product or service inquiries on our clients behalf.
Billing and Compensation
We generally bill at time of service, and accept checks, cash, as well as major cards.
For customers that require ongoing or on-call support, prepaid service agreements are available.
For project-based work, we’ll generally make a more involved agreement defining the scope of work, payment terms, and milestones for payment.
Discounts or job-specific rates may be available if pre-purchasing time.
Our current hourly rate is $150 per hour, in most cases.
For on-site service, there is a 1 hour minimum. After the first hour, we charge in 15 minute increments, rounded to the nearest quarter hour.
Example: 1.5 hours of on-site support would cost $225
For remote or phone support, we charge in 15 minute increments:
Example: 30 minutes of remote support would cost $75
We generally schedule appointments between 9AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. Availability outside those hours can frequently be arranged but may incur additional costs.

We offer service in the greater Tucson metropolitan area, and throughout southern Arizona.
If the worksite is more than a 30 minute drive from Tucson’s downtown area, please contact us to make arrangements and determine additional travel costs.
